Director of Sales for Energy Efficiency

Lux Global Partners is launching Lux360 Solutions, an energy efficiency services company that will serve our client base. We require a Director of Sales who will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership as well as direct sell energy conservation and sustainability solutions. The Lux360 Solutions group is part of Lux Global Partners that assist in selling our client’s sustainability technologies via direct and indirect sales channels. The candidate will be responsible for delivering best in class sales performance for expansion in multiple vital markets, mainly in energy and water conservation. The Director of Sales will be accountable for implementing strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and market development in line with company vision and values.

Please note that this not a traditional salaried position. There is an equity position for the right candidate and a generous bonus/commission plan with benefits. The desired candidate can be located anywhere in the continental United States and may work from their virtual home office with 10% travel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This role will perform, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Strong direct energy sales that seek out and targets new clients and new sales opportunities initiates an action plan to approach and secure new business for Lux
  • Develops a commercial strategy and annual sales plan that meets the Lux profitability objectives
  • Ensure sales organization develops, maintains and improves business relations with all Lux customers
  • Initiates and coordinates development of market development plans to penetrate new markets
  • Drive weekly update meetings to relay critical information and identify needed resources
  • Provides comprehensive monthly analysis and reporting of direct and indirect sales performance vs. quarterly and annual budget and appropriate action plan to meet and exceed deliverables
  • Responsible for the recruitment, training, performance management, and development of their employees, partners, and agents
  • Provides timely feedback to clients and end-user customers to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Provides guidance and leadership on go to market plans for new products and services
  • Prepares and present quality proposals and presentations to new clients

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or engineering related field (Preferred)
  • 8-10 years+ of experience in strong sales leadership experience in energy conservation
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and NGO requirements
  • Exceptional management skills in developing and executing sophisticated sales strategies, tactics, plans and programs
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
  • Proven leadership ability to drive sales growth
  • Outstanding sales management skills
  • Ability to update and maintain CRM account
  • Strong executive presence with a C-level mentality
